Coffee and Mini Horses

On Sunday I had enjoyed the easiest work day of my life. My friend Dana and I drove to Hamilton in the Liquid Planet Shooting Star Vehicle to make coffees at a miniature horse show. It was the first time I had ever been so close to a mini horse. It was quite an event. Although it was interesting to see the horses, coffee sales were not so happening. Dana and I made only 22 coffees in more than 4 hours. In addition, we only made 75 cents each in tips! So I continue to be a broke college kid. The most creepy event was the costume show were the horses and their owners dressed up. The costumes ranged from a tropical horse, a horse dressed like a cow, and the scariest..a horse wearing a wedding dress. It was just confirmation that Montana is the strangest place on earth. It also taught me that no matter what my future daughter may say, I will never purchase a horse.

I need Imput

Alright fellow bloggers I am turning to you for advice. As my previous post stated, I won a free massage..but the problem is how much should I tip? I don't want to be cheap, but I also don't want to look like the dumb kid who tips way too much. Also I believe that my charm should be considered...I mean they are lucky to have me as a client. Any help will be appreciated!

Night at the Ballgame!

Well wednesday night I finally went to a Osprey baseball game. Scottie B and I went and had a blast. Not only was it a good game, but I caught a free bag of peanuts during some between innings promo and also won a free 30 min massage for leading the stadium in the singing of Take Me Out To The Ballgame. For all of you that doubt that good things can happen by attending a sporting event I laugh. Despite all of my good fortune the Osprey blew a lead and lost in extra innings...Oh well, I guess I can't have everything I want! By the way I took this photo upside down and don't know how to fix it...until I talk to Lance of course! Never mind Rael helped me!!! Thanks Rael I would be lost without you!

Popcorn and 7-Up and Futurama

Hey all! I am just sitting here with Peter eating popcorn, drinking 7-Up, and watching Futurama..... what a dinner! First I must say that if you haven't already, you must check out my pal Ed's blog http://knitload.blogspot.com/ , she has a link to a sweet place to make cartoon characters! I must say that I had a wonderful weekend thanks to a wonderful God inspired chat I had Saturday night with Jess. As I've earlier indicated this summer has been testing me, but I am experiencing such a peace.. In about 3 weeks Peter and are moving to the Chi Alpha guy's house. I am so thrilled to just be around a bunch of goofy Christians all the time. Also this Tuesday marks the beginning of the season for the Missoula Osprey, a single A farm team of the Arizona Diamondbacks. I love baseball and nothing beats seeing a game live and for some reason hot dogs bought at baseball parks always taste amazing! I am hoping to make fans of all of my friends... which won't be easy! For those who don't know what a single A farm team means, it is a teams that consists of players (mostly young rookies) who have been drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks. In other words young athletes fighting to prove worthy to be in the majors. Well I hope to see you all at the ballpark!

Time For An Update!!

I figured it was about time that I wrote another blog entry... Lance and Rael are making me feel bad with their 5 posts a day! Here is a new picture of me with Emma and her new toy my sister and I named Mr. Quack Quack. I am so happy because Jess and Scott are back! (also Rael and Jill from their little trip) It has been a very tough summer for me at times with most of my friends gone away. Luckily I've been blessed with my sister, Peter, Lance and others to keep me from going too insane. I have no desire to go back to school, but I would sacrafice just to have my friends back. I think that this is just a season that I need to go through to build trust with God and discover my real dreams and talents. It's amazing to me to have a God that can look through all of our ugliness and failures and actually see something worth dying for. Better yet He gives us a new life full of joy!
